I am a M.Sc. student advised under Dr. Kristine Evans in the Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture department at Mississippi State University. My research interests range from population and community ecology, movement ecology, to conservation biology, with particular interest in using birds as the study group. My current research focuses on understanding how populations of avian species change prior to and after open pine management within native pine systems. Additionally, I am working on a conjoining project that aims to understand home range establishment and resource use of Bachman's Sparrows within Eastern Mississippi. In my free time I enjoy camping, gardening, and spending time with my cat.
